Motion Graphics
About the Course
Students will be provided with the supplies necessary.
Students will explore how graphic design comes to life through movement. Through hands-on projects, they’ll discover how animated text, images, and shapes can communicate ideas, tell stories, and capture an audience’s attention.
Through guided exercises, students will explore timing, rhythm, transitions, and composition. They’ll learn to plan sequences, animate visual elements, and consider how pacing and movement influence the meaning and mood of a piece.
Students will develop technical skills and creative problem-solving as they experiment, revise, and refine their work. Along the way, they’ll build confidence combining typography, color, imagery, and motion into purposeful visual communication.
What Students Will Create
Students will develop a finished motion graphics project supported by animation exercises, storyboards, and visual studies. Their work will demonstrate their growing ability to bring design elements together in a cohesive animated sequence suitable for their portfolio.
