Summer@Cornish is a 4-week intensive program offering high school students a mini-college experience at Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University. Located in Seattle's South Lake Union, through this program aspiring artists will explore the city while honing their creative talents.

The curriculum prepares students for a future in the arts. Rather than focusing on just one discipline or existing works, students create and perform new work, with the opportunity to take electives beyond their primary art form. Visit the Summer@Cornish FAQ for more information!

Program Design

Students have the option of full-time and half-time programs - housing is available for full-time students.

Full-Day: Morning Intensive + 2 Electives 
Students start their day with an intensive in their chosen discipline—art & design, music, film, musical theater, or dance. Afternoons feature electives, encouraging students to explore creative interests in or outside their core area. Fridays focus on portfolio development for college applications and personal projects. 

Summer@Cornish Residency
We are excited to partner with our neighbors next to our main campus building, Level Seattle, to provide housing for our students. In addition to the full program, residential students will have activities planned in the evenings and weekends, and have additional studio or practice room time. Half-Day: Intensives & Electives
Students can customize their experience by attending a morning Intensive, both afternoon Electives, or one single Elective. Residential options are not available for part-time students.

Tuition

Electives start at $730, and the Morning Intensive is $3160. Need-based scholarships are available here.
