Dance 4-Week Program

OVERVIEW - Early Bird Tuition Deadline - MARCH 1ST!

Summer@Cornish, running from July 7 – August 1, 2025, offers high school students a 4-week mini-college experience at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle’s South Lake Union. Students create and showcase new work, while exploring electives outside their primary art form to prepare for future arts careers.

Cornish’s Summer Dance Intensive provides a rigorous yet supportive environment for dancers to develop technical skills and explore contemporary styles, street forms, and choreography. Ideal for youth with 3-4 years of training, this program fosters artistic growth and exploration across disciplines.

Live Audition: Sunday, February 23, 1PM - 3PM at Cornish College Campus.

Dance Program

Full-Day
The Dance Intensive mornings focus on dance training in traditional techniques, compositional practices, yoga, and pilates; while afternoons offer electives in other dance forms, screendance or improvisational practices. Fridays are dedicated to audition and performance techniques for professional auditions or college application prep. Students will showcase original works for family and friends at the end of the program.  Summer@Cornish FAQ for more information.

Residential options are available for full-day students. Learn more here.

Part-time students can mix morning intensives with electives or attend only electives. Residential options are not available for part-time students.
