Students will develop their singing voice through the music that inspires them, whether that’s pop, rock, jazz, soul, folk, or their own original songs. In a supportive studio environment, they’ll explore what makes a performance compelling and discover new possibilities in their own sound.

Through guided exercises and song work, students will build skills in breath support, pitch, tone, phrasing, and vocal flexibility. They’ll experiment with rhythm, melody, and interpretation, learning how to make a song their own while developing healthy habits that support their voice.

Students will share solo material, sing with others, and learn through practice, listening, and individual feedback. Whether they hope to front a band, perform jazz, share their own songs, or simply become more confident singers, they’ll strengthen their ability to connect with music and communicate with an audience.

What Students Will Create

Students will develop a selection of songs that reflects their musical interests and individual voice. They’ll refine their technique and interpretation through rehearsals and informal in-class performances, working with covers, standards, or original material. They’ll also build a personal collection of warm-ups and exercises to support their continued growth.
