Summer@Cornish is a 4-week intensive program from July 6 – July 31, 2026, offering high school theater students a mini-college experience at Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University in Seattle’s South Lake Union. Students create and showcase new work, with opportunities to take electives outside their primary art form, preparing them for future arts careers.

The Musical & Theater full-day program explores all aspects of theater production. The Musical & Theater Intensive mornings focus on writing, singing, and acting in original musicals, while afternoons offer electives in costume design, stage combat, dance, music, theater, or film. Fridays are dedicated to audition techniques, performing and college application prep. At the end of the program, students perform a musical, along with monologues and solos, for family and friends.

Part-time half-day programs are available. Students are able to select either a morning intensive, or afternoon elective.

Tuition

Electives start at $730, and the Morning Intensive is $3160. Register by March 1 for a 10% discount. Need-based scholarships are available here.
