Overview

Summer@Cornish is an intensive 4-week summer program offering high school students a mini-college experience. Located in the Main Campus Building at Cornish College of the Arts, residential students will explore all Seattle has to offer in Seattle's South Lake Union Neighborhood.

Our unique curriculum is designed to prepare students for the arts careers of the future. Rather than only focus on one discipline or perform only existing works, all students create and perform or showcase new work, and have the opportunity to take electives outside of their primary artform.

Summer@Cornish runs from July 7 - August 1, 2025

Art & Design Program 

Full-Day

The art and design program is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in visual arts. Students begin their day with an intensive in core fundamentals, such as drawing and painting techniques and 3D object design. Afternoon electives allow students to explore and expand their creative interests. Fridays are designed for portfolio development for college applications and additional time working on personal projects.

Part-Time

Some students may prefer to attend Summer@Cornish as part-time students, selecting a combination of the morning intensive and one elective, only afternoon electives, or even just one elective.  The residential option is not available to part-time students.

Tuition

Tuition varies by type of program. Electives start at $730. The Morning Intensive is $3160.  Receive 10% off the full tuition by registering before March 1. Tuition needs-based scholarships are available here.
