Portfolio Development for College Applications
About the Course
Ideally, students will bring in a collection of work that is ready for review, but works in process are welcome! Not needed the first day.
12
This four-session workshop is designed for high school juniors and seniors preparing to apply to visual arts undergraduate programs. Under the guidance of Cornish faculty, Admissions counselors, and the Cornish Writing Center, students will leave the course with a polished digital portfolio of their artwork, a school-specific Statement of Purpose, and practical experience in confidently presenting and critiquing creative work.
While students are encouraged to arrive with a body of work ready for review, works in progress are equally welcome and can be developed during the workshop.
