Students will be provided with any supplies or pianos.
Piano is an important instrument for any musician to learn and can be essential for music communication. In this elective, students will enhance their musical toolkit with Practical Piano for Musicians, designed for students looking to build or improve their piano skills.
Ideal for musicians of all levels, this course focuses on practical piano techniques that can be applied to songwriting, composition, arranging, and general musicianship. Taught in the Cornish College Digital Audio Lab, students will learn chord progressions, accompaniment patterns, sight-reading, and basic improvisation, all while exploring the piano as a versatile tool for music creation. Whether you're a vocalist, instrumentalist, or aspiring composer, this course provides a hands-on, approachable introduction to piano for enhancing your musical creativity.

- M-F 9AM - 12PM
