About the Course
Some supplies for this are included. Students may need to supply their own materials based on the design they choose.
Design, build, and wire a sculptural, plug-in electrical lamp. Possibilities include table top or wall mounted lamps, and floor lamps, The lamps are made of wood, and can incorporate natural branches and log sections. These are traditional line-voltage lamps, so electrical cord, plugs, sockets, and switches are used, and class instruction includes the applicable wiring procedures.

In this course, students will look at some of the indigenous species of the Pacific Northwest as we explore various drawing techniques for beginning and intermediate students.
