About the Course
Students will need either a laptop or notebook for writing.
Writing for Stage & Screen is designed for aspiring film screenwriters and musical or theater playwrights to unleash their storytelling potential. In this elective, students explore the craft of writing captivating scripts for both film and live performance. Through hands-on workshops, creative exercises, and feedback from industry professionals, students learn how to develop compelling characters, structure engaging plots, and write authentic dialogue.
Whether students are passionate about crafting dramatic scenes for the screen or weaving together the intricate lyrics and narratives of musicals, this course will guide you through the techniques needed to bring their ideas to life. By the end of the program, students will have written original pieces ready for performance or production, giving you a strong foundation to pursue your creative dreams.
This is the perfect opportunity for young writers to hone their craft and gain real-world experience in a collaborative, inspiring environment at. No prior experience is necessary—just imagination and passion for storytelling!
