In this workshopping course, creativity meets collaboration in a supportive and dynamic environment for musicians to grow through peer and faculty feedback. Designed for aspiring and experienced songwriters, this course provides a unique opportunity to refine your skills through interactive sessions with faculty and peers. Participants will engage in hands-on sessions, sharing their original songs and receiving constructive feedback to enhance their lyrical, melodic, and harmonic skills. The course covers songwriting techniques, from idea generation to arrangement and production.
Through a collaborative process and real-time critiques, students will build on their unique voice, grow confidence in their songwriting abilities, and create polished, impactful songs ready for performance or recording. Working in a songwriting environment in this setting will encourage musical collaborations and create an opportunity for invaluable networking.
