The Music Licensing and Publishing for Musicians course offers a comprehensive exploration of the music licensing and publishing world. Over the span of 8 weeks, musicians will gain a deep understanding of music copyright, different types of licenses, rights, and royalties associated with music usage. They will learn about protecting their intellectual property, the role of performance rights organizations (PROs), and the mechanics of music publishing. 

The course emphasizes practical strategies for pitching music, negotiations, and securing favorable licensing deals. Industry experts and successful musicians will share their experiences, and participants will have networking opportunities. By the end of the course, musicians will be equipped to navigate the music licensing and publishing landscape effectively and capitalize on revenue-generating opportunities. Basic music theory knowledge and familiarity with the music industry are recommended prerequisites.
