Ideally, students will bring in a collection of work that is ready for review, but works in process are welcome!

This is a 4-session workshop designed for high school juniors and seniors interested in applying for visual arts undergraduate studies. With the support of Cornish Faculty, Admissions counselors and the Cornish Writing Center, students will complete this course with a finished, refined digital portfolio of their artwork, a relevant Statement of Purpose tailored to their specific schools requests, and experience in speaking about their work and critiquing the work of others.

Learning Outcomes:
- Complete a digital portfolio of student work with the support of Cornish faculty and Admissions counselors.
- Complete written Statement of Purpose, and support for other written materials required by colleges.
- Learn the basics of photography and lighting to document your 2D and 3D work.
- Gain communication skills when presenting your work and critiquing the works of others.
- Support in navigating the specific needs of individual schools' application process.
